This Art Burning

A staged performance featuring new explorations in setting poetry through video, spoken word, musical accompaniment, opera and song.

THIS ART BURNING, a multimedia musical and literary event by the composer/​video artist Ellen Fishman Johnson and the poet Michael Heller will be presented as part of the Philly Fringe Festival on Saturday, September 11 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, September 12 at 4 PM at the Performance Garage at 1515 Brandywine Street, Philadelphia, 19130.

Featured performers are: Shannon Coulter (soprano), Amanda Matyas (alto), Brian Vandenberge (tenor), Leah Kim (violin), Harvey Price (percussion), Sheri Melcher (piano), Christopher G. McGinley (choral direction), Catherine Lee (lighting designer), Simon Rogers (sound design)
